'The Rock of Cashel was the seat of the Kings of Munster where St Patrick is said to have converted king Cengus. It was given to the church in the 12C. Cormac's Chapel (1134) is the finest surviving Romanesque church in Ireland. There is a 12C Church, a 12C cross, and an 11/12C Round Tower
