Mount Brandon

County Kerry (Dingle Peninsula)

Caher Connor is the proper title of the beehive huts at Fahan on the south side of Mount Eagle in the Dingle peninsula. They were probably over 400 of them at one time and were possibly family dwellings; and they date to 12C. Peter Harbison has suggested they may have been built for pilgrims waiting to ascent Mount Brandon.
