These wells are close to Saul and, if St Patrick came to Saul, he would surely have come to this ancient place. There is a Drinking Well and an Eye Well and separate baths and bathing houses for men and women. A small Cross Slab is built into the wall of the Drinking Well. The church is 17C and was never finished. The place was enormously popular with pilgrims.
