Tory Island

County Donegal

St Columba is said to have founded a monastery here. There is a Tau Cross, an incomplete Round Tower, an old graveyard with an altar and cross slab, another altar (St Brigit's), some slabs and lots of bits and pieces at 'St John's altar' probably from the church of St Columba belonging to the monastery. There is also a small oratory 'for 6 persons' as its name implies.
