St Columba (6C) had a church here. The church is 12C. At the entrance to the site is the shaft of a High Cross. Not far away, to the West, is a Holy Well and cross, and up the hill some penitential stations used by pilgrim’s. Going east, in the hedgerow, is a stone with 2 hole marks said to be made by St Columba’s fingers
